14 Types of Female Orgasms

14 Types of Female Orgasms

Believe it or not, there are over 14 different kinds of female orgasms. This sounds crazy considering the orgasm gap between men and women, the stigma surrounding female orgasms, and how hard it can be to achieve them.

While women can’t have prostate orgasms, they are lucky enough that their erectile tissue is spread out over their bodies. This means that they have more erogenous zones than men, and can experience pleasure differently.

This is particularly beneficial for women who are struggling to orgasm through the conventional, common ways. This means there are different methods for them to explore, and there is hope of finding a method that works best for them.

And, even if you don’t struggle to reach orgasm, why not spice up your sex life a little bit and try to have an orgasm using a method that you are unfamiliar with?

We are touching on 14 types of female orgasms in this article, so we can almost guarantee that you will find one that you have never experienced before.

14 Ways Women Can Orgasm

Clitoral Orgasm

A clitoral orgasm is by far the most common, and probably the easiest, way to make a woman orgasm. A clitoral orgasm occurs by – you guessed it – stimulating a woman’s clitoris.

The clitoris has thousands of nerve endings, which is why it is so easy to get pleasure from its stimulation. Every woman likes to be stimulated here in a different way, so you should ask your partner what she likes.

But, the most common, and most successful way of stimulating a woman’s clitoris is by using your hands, mouth, or a sex toy.

G-Spot Orgasm

G-spot orgasms are another form of orgasm for women that are fairly common. The G-spot is an erogenous zone on the front wall of a woman’s vagina.

To give a girl a G-spot orgasm, you will need to find it first. This is best done using your finger. Insert a finger into her vagina, and touch the vaginal wall about two centimeters up from the opening.

Press into the vaginal wall and do a “come hither” motion. You are looking to feel a slightly bumpy area. This is the G-spot.

The G-spot is best stimulated using fingers, a sex toy, or a penis. If stimulated enough (it is quite a long game) and correctly, this can lead to a sensational G-spot orgasm.

The G-spot and female ejaculation often go hand in hand. G-spot orgasms can very often lead to female ejaculation or squirting.

Vaginal Orgasms

Vaginal orgasms are orgasms that occur through penetration of the penis alone. Many women find it quite difficult to experience an orgasm in this way, as most women do better with some sort of external stimulation.

But, it is definitely possible to have a vaginal orgasm. We would suggest focusing on a lot of foreplay in the beginning and on sex positions that are most suited to cause an orgasm.

These sex positions include but are not limited to, missionary, doggy style, cowgirl, and the CAT position.

Blended Orgasm

A blended orgasm occurs from more than one erogenous zone being stimulated at the same time.

This can include penetration and clitoris stimulation happening at the same time. It could also consist of G-spot stimulation and nipple stimulation happening simultaneously. Or, all 4 of those.

A blended orgasm is powerful. It can give a woman an out-of-this-world experience, and allow her to feel pleasure like never before.

Anal Orgasm

Anal orgasms in women aren’t often spoken about. But, they are very possible.

The anal walls are extremely rich with nerve endings. This makes them one of the most sensitive erogenous zones in the female body.

Additionally, because the anus and vagina are placed so closely together, they share a lot of muscles and nerves. This includes the pelvic floor. The pelvic floor is super sensitive, and when stimulated, can result in orgasm.

An anal orgasm can be achieved by inserting the penis,  or a sex toy, into the anus, and proceeding like you would with normal vaginal penetration. Although the positions won’t be the same, you can thrust as per usual.

Anal sex isn’t for everyone, which is why anal orgasms are so underrated. But, if you are someone who is into it, or are at least willing to try it, you could end up being extremely satisfied and pleasured.

Cervical Orgasm

Cervical orgasms occur when a woman’s cervix is stimulated, and it can be one of the most powerful types of orgasm.

Quite often, the intensity can make you feel as if you are having a full-body orgasm, and it is quite something to experience.

Both you and your partner must become familiar with the cervix for her to experience a cervical orgasm.

Cervical orgasms require deep penetration, and a lot of patience, to occur. The best position for a cervical orgasm is doggy style because of how deep you can penetrate.

Alternatively, cowgirl also works quite well as it allows the woman to have some sort of control, and deep penetration is still possible.

If you are struggling to get deep enough with your penis, you might want to think about incorporating some sex toys to help.

Nipple Orgasm

Nipples are major erogenous zones, and they can cause a lot more pleasure than you may think. Nipples have loads of nerve ending in them, so touching and stroking them fires them up straight away.

It takes a lot longer for a woman to reach climax through nipple stimulation than it does through clitoris stimulation, for example. But, it definitely is possible; a woman can orgasm through nipple play

We would suggest using your fingers, mouth, and tongue to stimulate the nipples to bring on an orgasm.

Because it can take a bit longer, we would also suggest using a lot of foreplay.

One thing to note is that some women have reported that nipple orgasms aren’t as strong as other forms of orgasms. Nonetheless, they can still be very enjoyable.

Tantric Orgasms

Tantric orgasms for women occur during tantric sex.

For those of you who are unsure of what tantric sex is, it is a slow, meditative, form of sex. It is based on sexual energy and deep connections.

The end goal of tantric sex is not necessarily to have an orgasm, but it is to enjoy the experience and focus on the sexual sensations and journey of your body.

Tantric sex aims to move sexual energy through your partner’s, and your own, body. This is to promote enlightenment, healing, and transformation.

While the goal might not always be to orgasm, they still do occur.

Tantric orgasms are actually quite important, as they can get you out of your head and into your body. Something that is the core of tantric sex.

A tantric orgasm can occur just like any other orgasm in this article. It can be clitoral or vaginal, for example.

What makes it different is that you just focus a lot more on engaging your mind and body, and connecting with spiritual energy throughout the process.

When you reach a tantric orgasm, it is believed that you release orgasmic energy.

Oral Orgasm

The name of this orgasm is a bit misleading. What sounds like an orgasm from oral sex, is really an orgasm from kissing.

I know what you’re thinking, a kissing orgasm sounds a bit far-fetched. How is something like that possible?

While it is a lot less common and heard of very often, an oral orgasm is possible. Lips are a very sensitive erogenous zone, which explains how it is possible to reach climax through kissing.

But, a lot of attention and focus is required, and you need to be in tune with what you are feeling.

These orgasms are most often achieved when you have a deep connection, both emotional and sexual, with the person you are sharing the kiss with.

A-Spot Orgasm

The A-spot, also known as the anterior fornix erogenous zone, or the second G-spot, is located between a woman’s cervix and bladder. It is near the end of her vaginal canal and is a very sensitive bit of tissue.

The A-spot is located even deeper than the G-spot. But, it is located in the same plane. So, locate the G-spot first, and then move your fingers more your fingers a few centimeters deeper along the same front vaginal wall.

You are looking for a soft, or spongy, area with heightened sensitivity. When you have found this, you have located the A-spot.

The A-spot can be stimulated similarly to the G-spot. But, because of how deep it lies, it is often hard to reach it with a penis. So, we would recommend using a long sex toy or dildo for this one.

Skin Orgasm

A skin orgasm, also known as a frission,  is extremely unpredictable. Despite the name, a skin orgasm is not always linked to a sexual experience or being sexually aroused.

This is why it isn’t so commonly talked about.

Have you ever felt a tingle or shiver run over your skin? Or gotten goosebumps, or have your arm hair stand up when you listen to a particular song or emotional scene?

This is a skin orgasm.

Skin orgasms are usually sparked by musical pieces or an emotional scene in a movie. It definitely does not feel the same as a clitoral or vaginal orgasm, for example, and doesn’t give that same sense of pleasure.

It is still possible that you can experience a skin orgasm during sexual intercourse. But, this will likely be very random, and there is nothing that you can really do to bring it on.

Fantasy Orgasm

A fantasy orgasm occurs when your sexual fantasies lead you to climax.

A fantasy orgasm relies a lot on one’s mind, and can only be brought on by themselves.

In order to have a fantasy orgasm you have to be relaxed, and let your imagination run. You need to use your mind to conjure up erotic scenes that stimulate your senses and erogenous zones.

Not everyone has the mental focus and relaxation to have a fantasy orgasm. It takes a lot of practice and patience.

Coregasm

While the name may sound very strange, this orgasm can be quite intense. A coregasm occurs during exercise when there is intense abdominal engagement. So, this would likely occur during heavy weight lifting, or isolated exercises targeted at strengthening your core.

Coregasms often happen when you least expect it during a workout, without you even trying to achieve it.

Not only does core and pelvic floor engagement lend itself well to orgasms, but exercise also releases “happy hormones” that target the brain’s pleasure centers.

The combination of this is what can cause a coregasm.

Snoregasm

If you thought the types of orgasms a woman can have couldn’t get any stranger, think again, because a snoregasm is a thing.

Sometimes, women have orgasms in their sleep, and this is what is known as a snoregasm.

Snoregasms are involuntary and usually occur if a woman has had an erotic and sexual dream.

There is unfortunately no way that a woman can control this, and often it is something that she doesn’t expect.

Nonetheless, even though it happens in her sleep, it can still be quite pleasurable at the time.

Conclusion

As you can see, there are a lot of different orgasms that women can achieve. One thing to keep in mind is that even though there are a lot of different types, a woman is unlikely to enjoy every single type.

It is important that you find what works best for you and what you enjoy most.

It is also great to be able to spice things up sometimes, and discover what you do and don’t like. Hopefully, this article will help you on that journey.
